Abstract

IoT, a network enabling machines to interact and make smart decisions, has significantly grown, aiding individuals and businesses in managing their ventures. However, this growth has elevated the risk of cyber-attacks, necessitating a serious focus on cyber security to ensure safety as IoT becomes integral to modern life. Enhancing the security of these connected devices is crucial, and can be accomplished by understanding the various types of attacks and their motivations. Often, attacks exploit weak security links, targeting connected devices primarily. Hackers keenly identify these weaknesses to hijack the devices. Among the numerous challenges IoT faces, ensuring robust security is identified as the most critical concern.
